Dystol Hospital Grade Disinfectant

Dystol Hospital Grade is a strong general purpose disinfectant for use in hospital and domestic applications which meets the EN 1276 standard for bactericidal assay.

It is an amber liquid with a characteristic chlorinated xylenol/pine odour and is formulated from mixed chloroxylenols, pine oil, alcohol and vegetable oil soap.

It mixes readily with water to form a translucent emulsion

Dystol Hospital Grade can be stored, undiluted, for a long period and is stable at temperatures ranging from 5oC to over 400C.

For the disinfection of sink waste pipes and drains, use Dystol Hospital Grade undiluted and leave for 5 minutes before sluicing with water.

For general disinfection dilute 6 ml in 1 litre of water.  For heavy disinfection and general cleaning of medical rooms, dilute 10 ml in 1 litre of water.  For cleaning walls, floors and general equipment, dilute 10 ml in 1 litre of water.

Due to its strong odour, Dystol Hospital Grade is not recommended for use in areas where food is prepared and served.
